Welcome to my website. Chances are you are thinking about getting some help dealing with whatever is troubling you. I am skilled in helping deal with such issues as depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, parenting concerns, gender issues, divorce, trauma, grief and loss, overwhelm from a life that is too hectic, and/or feeling stuck in your life.
I commend you for your courage, and hope you will find some helpful information here about counseling, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. Many people feel some lessening of their emotional discomfort as soon as they make a call to a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist like me, because facing troubles is easier when we are not alone.
You may benefit from psychotherapy, which involves regular sessions designed to bring improvement to relatively recent troubles. I also have significant additional training and experience in working with individuals whose problems are of a lifelong nature, as opposed to reactions to a recent event. I can offer intensive treatment known as psychoanalysis for people interested in making more lasting and significant changes in their lives.
I have been providing psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and couples of all sorts since 1989. I am a graduate of Brown University and of Santa Clara University. Other clinicians often seek out my therapy services and consultation on their own work.
I work on a fee for service basis, outside of insurance plans.
I am committed to providing high quality, ethical psychotherapy services. The first step is for you to call to set up a consultation, in which we can assess whether there seems to be a good fit between your needs and my capacity to help. I look forward to hearing from you.
Calls regarding appointments are welcome at my private voicemail: 650-325-2576.
